Julie Balson Owner Gallery Frame Shop

Julie Balson, CFP

"I'm Julie. Owner of the Gallery Frame Shop. I have been involved with the business since it's inception in 1975.  Just a few childhood memories from our early days in business.  Sitting at the dining room table with my dad while he taught me how to properly write checks out to pay our vendors (keep in mind I was just 11 and this was a really big deal to me!) showing me the difference between the debit and credit columns on our worksheets.  I remember my dad rough planing the wood in our driveway and we had staining dunk tanks outside that we would dip our frames, wipe down and then hang them everywhere to dry.  In 2002 I purchased the business from my parents Dick & Dolly Lewis.
My Favorite part about working in the framing industry is the amazing stories folks tell us when they come to get their projects framed."
