Malachi has been a featured artist of Gallery & Frame Shop since 2017, along with his mom, Nina, (also a fantastic artist). They would set up for the weekly downtown farmer’s market and Malachi would do pet portraits while you shopped the market.
In 2018, Malachi created his world changers series which was a traveling series and was featured throughout Fond du Lac at various galleries and the Treffert Center. When Malachi would come into the gallery, he would say “I love it in here”, so one day I asked him if he would like to work here. Through the tireless efforts of his mom and Bright Futures we were able to bring Malachi into the shop on a trial basis and on October 28, 2019 he officially became one of Gallery & Frame Shop’s team members. Some of his jobs include cleaning up our foyer, bagging up our hooks that we give away with each framed piece, cutting paper, and matching up mat colors for precut mats. Malachi’s favorite job is cutting paper and if you ever want someone to put stamps on envelopes perfect every time, he is your man! Malachi brings a new energy to the team and loves to review the movies he has watched. The latest Star Wars movie “was epic” in his opinion. As of now Malachi is working from home, but we can't wait for the day when we can bring all of our team back into the shop.
